G0RUZ Weak-signal DX on 50,144,432 and 1296 Mhz for the Radio Amateur

E.M.E. or Earth Moon Earth represents one of the greatest challenges to the Radio Amateur. It is also more commonly known as moonbounce which describes the process exactly.

If two stations can see the lunar surface simultaneously they can communicate with each other using the moon as a passive reflector. The path loss is huge and it calls for fairly large, accurately steered antenna systems and high power. However recent advances in receiver technology and antenna design have meant these requirements have been relaxed considerably. Please look at the eme links where you will find lots of useful information.
